As part of the Alloy editorial team, I get very up close and personal with everyone’s favorite characters—so much so that they don’t really feel like characters to me anymore, but close friends. And as with real-life friends, I like to imagine that they all know each other, that there are no lines between Alloy Entertainment’s various series. After all, why couldn’t the Rosewood girls meet the Arroyo girls on the steps of the Met, or help the Salvatore brothers stake an Original? And that’s just the beginning….

Hanna Marin and Nate Archibald (Pretty Little Liars / Gossip Girl)

In my imagination, Hanna and Nate have the truly perfect summer fling. They meet on the beach, at a bonfire, and bond over their mutual love of lacrosse, French fries, and shiny hair. For a while, they balance each other out perfectly: Nate’s biggest romantic problem is that he’s never really sure what he wants, while Hanna always knows what she wants, and isn’t afraid to go after it. These two totally understand each other’s insecurities: They’ve both lived in the shadow of their domineering best friends, and feel betrayed by their fathers. Hanna and Nate part ways at the end of the summer, but will remain friends. They still tweet at each other regularly.
Noel Kahn and Sutton Mercer (Pretty Little Liars / The Lying Game)

I like to think that Noel and Sutton meet at Rive Gauche – and from the moment they set eyes on each other, they know that they belong together. With their combined powers, they could be the most legendary power couple since Brangelina. The only thing more buzz-worthy than a Sutton-Noel party is a Sutton-Noel prank. Though they start dating for social reasons, Sutton and Noel are surprised to find themselves falling in love for real. It’s not always easy: they both need to be the center of attention, and hate sharing the spotlight, even (or especially) with each other. But they really do care about each other. And they look so good together.
